Trained At The School Of The Decorative Arts Of Paris, Mado Jolain Creates Her Workshop With Her Husband René Legrand In 1948. Her Style Is Very Marked By The Arts And Popular Traditions. Very Fast She Turns To Ornamental Pieces (Dishes, Pitchers, Vases) Figurative Or In Abstract Trend. At The End Of The 50S, She Re-Invents The Open Air Ceramic And Creates Pieces For Gardens And Terraces. She Leaves Paris In 1966, Giving Up The Work Of The Ceramic. In 2000, The Gallery Favardin Presents A Retrospective Of Her Work.
